Back Blogging!
Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a while the school holidays took over but I am back.
I have a few ideas for some blogs they include a book review, a bit of a nail review and a huge haul review from a few deliveries from Everything 5pounds website. I am completely in love my bargains from there and can't wait to tell you.
I am currently enjoying the last week of the summer holidays at home with my kids I am lucky enough t be able t take them to work with me in the school holidays but I do enjoy some time off with them to just do mum jobs. We haven't been away this year but have enjoyed some excellent family days out and the kids had a great week at home with dad but we are all looking forward to next years holiday. We are hoping to visit Cornwall as the kids have never been so any recommendations are welcome!
So tis was just a quick update and to let you know that tomorrows blog will be a review but not sure which one yet, hoping to get all three prepared and post one every few days while I am at home. As always any requests are more than welcome.
A blog about the little things in life that we all enjoy. Reviews on high street brands, a look into my everyday life, book reviews and much more. Enjoy and feel free to comment I will consider requests and ideas :)

Photos for blogs, school trips and a pain in the neck
I am a little late in posting this as I hurt my neck and have been pretty much out of action for a while. Unbelievably all I was doing is blow drying my hair, I just got a pain in my neck and was unable to move, I am the type of person who never takes painkillers but this last week I have been taking them religiously in the hope of some relief. I am pretty much recovered now so should be back on track with my posts.
This week has been an emotional one, my 11year old son has gone on his first residential visit with his school. It is a well deserved activity holiday after many weeks of SATs preparation and exams but that said I am a wreck. I didn't realise I would worry so much, he is a sensible boy and extremely trustworthy but for him to go away and us not be informed of their arrival or even allowed a phone call is awful. I am positive that he is having a fantastic time and is building his independence for comprehensive school in 3 weeks and then I realise that this time next year I will be in the same position again with my daughter. When anyone tells you it doesn't get any easier as your kids get older it really true but I wouldn't have it any other way.
My only other issue now is not having a great camera for blog photos. I have a camera which I am considering using for now but my other option is my Samsung Galaxy S3, which to be fair has a fairly decent camera for me to start with. Any advice on this is greatly appreciated, just need a few ideas on where to start.
So hopefully by the time I get to posting next week I will have photos and my son home safe and I will be needing to cover the many grey hairs and worry lines from this last week. Talk to you soon and thanks for taking the time to read xx
P.S I have recently been lacing orders with Everything£5 and I am hoping to write a quick review for those of you who like fashion on a budget. Just waiting for a delivery from them today so will hopefully put a post up at the weekend.

Introducing Me!
Hi, so just a short post to introduce myself and what I am blogging about.
I am open to request so anything you would like see just comment an I will try to write about it.
My name is Zoe, I am 32 and a mum of two. I am engaged to the man I was always meant to be with!
Having children means that there might be some child related posts but that won't be all. I am a nail junkie, I love buying nail polish and I change my nails every couple of days, expect photos! I enjoy fashion and make up but work on a budget so most things are high street! I love reading and take my kindle everywhere so expect the odd book review.
I work part time as well as caring for my family so I will post whenever it is possible but hopefully once a week, no promises but sometimes depending on what's happening in my life I might post more often.

Just Another Hair Dye?
Okay, so this is my first ever blog post and I have decide to write it due to the lack of information on budget beauty products. I will save introductions and about me for another post, right now I want to tell you my thoughts on what I assumed was just another hair dye!
I have tried many box dyes ranging from the shop brand to the well known, I have also tried many different colours and have always found myself back to blonde.
I have recently decided (again) that I need a change from reds and brown and found myself stripping and bleaching my now slightly frazzled hair. As many home colourists will know after being a red head it is extremely difficult to achieve a non brassy blonde.
This is where you find me usually in Superdrug scouring the shelves for the ash blondes, this time however I noticed a single box of the Shwarzkopf Color Mask in the colour Pearl Blonde. I was doubtful but having never tried pearl blonde thought why not?! And it's safe to say I am so glad I did not just the colour but everything about the product is brilliant and has become my go to hair dye!
Everything abut this dye feels different in a good way, they don't give you a bottle applicator instead it's a little pot which for me made application quicker, easier and less likely to splatter. My usual development time is 45minutes so that's what I went for with this, I must admit I do usually get the itchy burning feeling quite early on but not at all with this product and the smell was not as overpowering as you sometimes find, this was actually bearable and didn't make my whole house smell.
It does come with the usual conditioner which I always find to be quite good, leaving my hair soft and this one is no different. The end result is what matters to me and I am really happy with how my hair turned out, the brassiness is toned down and my damaged hair doesn't seem to be anymore damaged. I love the colour and would recommend anyone regardless of hair colour to give these dyes a try, I know I am glad I did.
